Ganesha, sculpted in Sculpey firm and Apoxie, 17”t x 10”l x 10”w, 2014. Painted with acrylic copolymer.
Ganesha is my favorite Hindu deity.
I used my own big belly for reference and got my husband to model an orange piece of cotton so I could get good reference photos for the folds of the dhoti.
