Don't forget D: Something about dialysis centers

Forgetting about random dialysis propositions that nobody understands
Why is California proposition literally either

A. Raises income tax by 0.2% to fund one guy's pet project
B. Provide a living stipend for orphans [billionaires spend $300 million opposing]
C. Loophole written in a Klingon that you should most definitely vote no to

california ballot initiatives are like a puzzle and scavenger hunt contest open to the public, except if you don’t solve the cryptogram and pick the state flower, all of the dialysis centers close.

OP forgot “same kidney dialysis ballot measure that’s been voted down four times already” on the list

California ballot propositions in theory: this will let voters overcome moneyed and powerful interests at the legislature!

California ballot propositions in practice: voting on staffing levels at dialysis clinics 3 times in 6 years because apparently I’m supposed to be an expert on this?
I'm a big believer in representative democracy because every time you let people do direct democracy they use it for insane shit

We really need them to see that it’s more like access to kidney dialysis.

If you need it, you NEED it.

Since I haven’t lived in California in forever, I don’t remember how I voted on the dialysis proposition, but thank you for reminding me that I have voted on a dialysis proposition.

Having kidneys in Sam Altman is an inefficient use of the world’s limited kidney supply. They would be better allocated to decent humans experiencing kidney failure.

He can get by on dialysis. Much more efficient.
BREAKING: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says having RAM in personal computers is an inefficient use of the world’s limited DRAM supply, arguing it would be better allocated to data centers, per Tom’s Hardware

PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP ON LIV. We have until Thursday to pay for her dialysis,& I’m asking for help to keep her treatment going. After everything her body has been through, she’s trying to recover but she still needs dialysis.

🙏🏾 PLEASE DON’T SKIP THIS POST.

We got Liv’s dialysis turned back on, but our fight isn’t over. I’m asking for help again because I’m terrified of ever watching my wife go through that kind of suffering again. Please take a minute to read our update. It means more to us than you know
