Yes, because simulations are always a good way to learn how things will work in real life. One moment while I tuck away these notes on thalidomide, accutane, fen-phen, vioxx, and diethylstilbestrol. I'm sure they don't apply.

Entirely unrelated fact: Did you know 90% of drugs fail clinical trials?
"At FDA we're accelerating drug approvals so that you don't need to use primates or even animal models. You can do the drug approvals very, very quickly with AI."

Terfs are so annoying with this disinformation.

Alan Turing was given a chemical called DES (diethylstilbestrol) it's a non steroidal estrogen. Technically accurate in a pharmacological sense, but deeply misleading in a chemical and biological makeup.

contraception, treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, and cervical cancer screenings.

I personally benefited from care at PP in my teens, they helped me with treatments to remove precancerous cells caused from my birth mother taking Diethylstilbestrol (DES).

He was given DES (diethylstilbestrol), which is a synthetic estrogen. It was quite a cruel punishment.

Endometrial clear cell carcinoma exhibits architecture that ranges from papillary to tubulocystic to solid nests. Unlike its cervical counterpart, CCC of the uterine corpus shows no association with in utero exposure to diethylstilbestrol (DES) #pathsky #medsky #pathology #oncology

Diethylstilbestrol injections. Forced dysphoria on top of everything else 😠

The right answer is most likely exposure to diethylstilbestrol used to prevent miscarriages in utero as it was not understood at the time that it crossed the placental barrier and was still prescribed in the late 80s in the UK despite American FDA warnings.

Please show me where the introduction of Diethylstilbestrol causes changes in the brain structure as well as an increase in the likelihood of someone being trans.

How about doing an article on how Lilly’s drug DES, caused cancer, death, and destroyed the lives of millions of women (and thousands of men). They misled the public about it and have never apologized, and in fact, they have scrubbed their Wiki page of any mention of DES. They are despicable.
What is DES? | DES Action USA
In 1938, DES (diethylstilbestrol) was the first synthetic estrogen to be created. DES was prescribed to millions of pregnant women, primarily from 1938 - 1971, but certainly not limited to those years...

I truly feel for you. I had to have one yearly when I was younger. I was a DES daughter. Diethylstilbestrol was a drug given to women to prevent miscarriages before scientists learned that the daughters had a much greater chance of developing cervical cancer. That's how we were screened.

So, again, please show me where the introduction of Diethylstilbestrol causes changes in the brain structure as well as an increase in the likelihood of someone being trans.

As a DES Daughter and activist, I asked Congressman Jim McGovern if he’d be willing to make a resolution about DES (diethylstilbestrol) and he said yes. Thank you @jimmcgovernma.bsky.social for championing the rights of DES victims and survivors.

Diethylstilbestrol was another possibility, but that is also a synthetic hormone.
