They can't call him out for his age or health because have you looked at the senior living that is the US Congress. Chuck Grassley is 92, he's already filed to run in 28. Mitch doesn't even know where he's at but can vote. DiFi also was out of it before she passed.

They had no problem using the word "elder" when they repeatedly accused Democrats of elder abuse by supporting DiFi or Biden, but using the word as a way to show respect to Democratic Party politicians that spent decades fighting to pass better policy is somehow unacceptable.
