I'm practicing some more digital inking and screentone in Krita and trying to figure out some character designs.

I resized the final image to 1080x720 for a Youtube thumbnail and it seems to work for reducing halftone artifacting. Hopefully.

Just another casual stroll above the concrete jungle. Kept the edges defined and the perspective dizzying for this Spider-Man digital ink study.

Free Mobile Wallpapers (✿ ♡‿♡)

I wanted to give these pieces a new life instead of letting them sit in my gallery, so I turned them into phone wallpapers.

Download them completely free on my Ko-fi as a thank you for your support.

Two phone mockups displayed over a mossy green forest photo, with the heading "Free Mobile Wallpapers" above them. The first shows an ink-wash painting of pink lotus flowers among grey rocks, and the second shows a white flower with ladybugs on a curved stem. Both are shown as lock screens with the time.

A phone lock screen mockup on a cream background showing a digital ink-wash painting of two pink lotus flowers beside soft grey rocks, with a small red NISKALA seal in the corner. Text below reads "Phone Wallpaper, download on my Ko-Fi, ko-fi.com/niskalaexe, thank you for your support."

A dramatic digital ink-wash illustration of a chunky tabby cat walking forward with a determined grin, holding a meat cleaver firmly in its mouth. The cat casts a heavy shadow on a stone path against a dark, textured background.

In the middle of handling commissions and fighting off the urge to game, I took a step back to reset. A few hours in Krita, no perfectionism, just raw flow and story concepts for my favorite Marvel series, X-Men.

It's been a while since I drew her, but this time, as a character representing me, I wanted to paint her as a representation of myself.

Cybil Bennett investigating the destroyed borders of Silent Hill. 🌫️

I loved applying thick manga inking and screentones to build that classic survival horror tension.
