Dinoconda at Dinosaur Park for today’s #DailyCoaster. The newest of S&S 4d coasters. Runs pretty well and still a rather unique riding experience! Love the giant dragon in the station too.

Today I rode Dinoconda 4D at China Dinosaurs Park, my third and final Arrow 4d. This one was definitely the most wild of the three, my legs went flying out of my seat. I was super impressed by the theming here! I was expecting Six Flags but ended up with Universal. #rollercoasters #coastercredit

it's not so bad if you sit on the inside seat, but yeah, it's a pretty unique beast. the only other two are eejanaika in japan and dinoconda in china. its highs are very high but also one time X2 hit a brake block in such a way that i briefly thought something permanent & bad had happened to my neck

Yeah, while the park owns X2, S&S is the main supplier of parts since they acquired Arrow’s assets when Arrow went bankrupt, which is why S&S helped with the conversion into X2 and built the other 2 4D coasters (Eejanaika and Dinoconda) lol

The X2 situation can't just subjected to snark. The problem isn't necessarily the ride's, but rather Magic Mountain's unwillingness to properly refurb the ride post COVID. X2 had no issue b4 Covid and its sister rides Eejanika and Dinoconda are fine rn (both of which more intense btw)

A Look at Dinoconda, the World’s Fastest 4D Coaster and Possibly the Most Terrifying Ride on Earth
There are roller coasters that scare you with height, and roller coasters that scare you with speed. Then there’s Dinoconda, a 4D coaster at China Dinosaurs Park in Changzhou, which has identified a third option—pure, unrelenting unpredictability. Designed by Alan Schilke and built by Utah-based S&S Worldwide, Dinoconda opened in 2012 as China’s first 4D […]
