#Dinofacts with Melia. It's back! The Irritator challengeri is a genus of Spinosaurid. That lived during the early Cretaceous about 113 to 110 years ago. It got it's name due to irritating the scientist analyzing it's fossils. They were given a damaged fossils that was altered by the collectors

#Dinofacts with Melia. The Male Carnotaurus actually did a mating dance to attract a mate. Not all dinosaurs did but the Carnotaurus was one such dinosaur. I'll link a video.

It has come to my attention. That I am in fact, a fucking dumbass. I meant to put 113 to 110 million years ago. I forgot the million in there. That's what happens, when I go 4 months without Dinofacts. I will make sure to not make that mistake going forward lmao

#Dinofacts with Melia. The biggest Theropod Dinosaur is the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It's genus name translates to "tyrant lizard king". Giganotosaurus carolinii is a close second. It is heavily debated whether it or the T.rex is bigger. Incomplete fossils of Giga make this difficult to determine.

#Dinofacts with Melia. The Velociraptors in the Jurassic park films are actually closer to Deinonychus in terms of size. Velociraptors are actually the size of turkeys and are feathered unlike the ones seen in most films. The JP 3 raptors are somewhat closer in look due to their feathers.

#Dinofacts with Melia. The earliest known Tyrannosaurids are the Guanlong and the Dilong. The Guanlong lived during the late Jurassic around 163.5-157.3 million years ago. The Dilong lived during the early Cretaceous 125.8-126 million years ago.

#Dinofacts with Melia. Did you know dinosaurs actually showed each other affection? The T.rex for example would nuzzle it's mate with its face. The T.rex family unit was quite affectionate. For being the apex of land animals they still knew how to love someone. Can I just say this is couple goals
