anyways. it's really jank and poorly done but if you go to simple.atapi.space now it will load simplified CSS that reduces effects, disables Oneko, and disables the music player

This is a bit misleading. It wasn't a threat. Google search is simply powered by generative AI now and thus disabling AI disables search.

You're being misleading. They're not bullying schools. Their search is simply powered by their AI now, and thus disabling AI disables search. They want schools to be aware of this when they make their choice.

This is similar to Gmail where.. if you turn off AI features, it disables the category tabs which turn your inbox into a mess of spam, and even spellcheck.

"but the app disables clickable links in order to keep people in the app" you can still copy plaintext links, but also half the time some people just choose not to have the name of the website written out in their reels fuhh

If @halfmoonjoe.com (or anyone) wants to play Sims Medieval again, I highly recommend this mod to remove the daily quests from Pirates & Nobles (which are tedious, repetitive, and annoying)

If @halfmoonjoe.com (or anyone) wants to play Sims Medieval again, I highly recommend this mod to remove the daily quests from Pirates & Nobles (which are tedious, repetitive, and annoying)
