adjacent but something that annoys me is a lot of 'gameplay forward' gamers still operate on the implicit assumption that other mediums ARE just vehicles for the story... maybe grind some culture bro instead of DMC5 combos...

The director of DMC5 left and I'd have to imagine they're worried about giving the series another crack when they don't have "proven talent" behind it, what with the failure of DmC.

I find zelda piss easy and dmc5 sometimes challenging both are fun.
It all depends on how you play and what but people are allowed to ask for harder things like idk, enemies aggro more often or tighter frame timings.
