Not really? Pathfinder WAS dnd and it broke from it only because DnD4 was not doing what they wanted as a system. While Draw Steel is more made because WotC are assholes no matter if DND5 is good or not.

Tampoco me gusta nada DnD4 pero esos bloques están muy bien, los roles para los monstruos también, el arte es cojonudo, pero quitando esas cosas ¿Qué demonios han hecho por nosotros los romanos?

I'd... Very loosely compared it to Pathfinder2 crunchy + DnD4 once per turn/scene actions and conditions + JRPG vibes like being the player party in a Final Fantasy game

Es su propio sistema. Para que no entendamos es la evolución de dnd4, pero funciona con 2d10, con la gracia de que nunca se falla y el resultado marca una horquilla.
Muy bueno para quien guste de sacar miniaturas a la mesa, llevar héroes poderosos y el combate táctico de casillas.

Es su propio sistema. Para que no entendamos es la evolución de dnd4, pero funciona con 2d10, con la gracia de que nunca se falla y el resultado marca una horquilla.
Muy bueno para quien guste de sacar miniaturas a la mesa, llevar héroes poderosos y el combate táctico de casillas.

Entre otras cosas no me apetece ser competitivo como requieren esos juegos.

Jag har kört lite allt möjligt - först o främst DnD, men från ADnD 2 och framåt. (Jag tillhör dessutom det dussin som gillar DnD4). Det jag kört mest utom det är Chill (Chock på svenska), Call of Cthulhu, Drakar o Demoner expert (älskar!) och barnrollspelet Sagospelet Äventyr.

That concept turned me off right DnD4 when I first saw it, and also annoyed me about WFRP3. I later realised that "realism" should take a back seat to gameability.

Releasing DnD4 as a differently named game would have probably saved the best version of DnD, I gotta agree with you there :3
5 has been a mistake, I didn't think they could make something more soulless than D20Modern, but they did it.

I *think* the Final Fantasy 14 TTRPG tries to do just that, but to what degree and success, I don’t know. It looked a lot like DND4 though. I think there’s a free starter pdf out there.

Malo no es en absoluto. Técnicamente esta perfecto, el arte es soberbio. Todo está balanceado y medido de manera impecable.
Precisamente por eso, me da más vibra de juego de mesa que de rol.
De esta manera es el D&D menos deseado para mí. En lugar de DnD4 prefiero jugar a casi cualquier otra cosa.

But DnD4 tried to make a choice and focused more of combat, and the community reacted poorly to that, and they decided to revert this decision on DnD5. They are now trying to rely less on stats augmentations and more on flavorful traits, but it's hard. They have a lot of design history to deal with.

It's really fun to run! It makes me think a lot of running DnD4, without the grid movement, with a big emphasis on players figuring out the mechanics of the enemies. So as a GM, you're kind of encouraged to make these unhinged monsters (like the Nightmare Apparatus here).

中期的な引っ越しが視野に入ってきたので、今のうちにいろいろごっそり処分に手をつけておきたい。DnD4のルルブはもうまとめて売ってしまうか。だいぶ遊んだけど、たぶんもうプレイすることもなさそう。イエサブが郵送買取を受け付けてるっぽいので、まとめてぶん投げよう。
