Every day before I leave for work, I give each one of these three a hug. They're the best and I wish they could text me while I'm at work so they can fill me in on all the fun shit they do, like chasing squirrels and sleeping. #dogs #wolfgangthedog #dollythedog #hazelnutthedog #petdad

Knives used to spread peanut butter in our house get a preliminary tounge-wash before being properly washed off in the sink. The tounge-wash is essential. It is tradition. It is sacred. The earth will fall out of orbit if this ritual is not completed. #dollythedog #wolfgangthedog #hazelnutthedog

"Alls I'm sayin' is that there's too many streaming services. What the hell ever happened to cable?" Dolly sits like a human all the time, with her stumpy leg on the arm rest. I had an empty Genny can, and I couldn't resist the photo op. She was in mid-yawn. #dollythedog #gennybock #grumpyoldlady

Dolly's nickname is snug. She's a snuggler.

This morning, I let Dolly out. She rolled in something...fragrant.

She came back in, and I found a tiny slug on her back.

SLUG ON A SNUG.

Again in the same spot with my coffee and bathrobe and slippers....but with three guests clustered like barnacles on a ship's hull. #dollythedog #winfieldscottthecat #georgepattonthecat
