I loved this one, the flicker in the tree. It was eating those white berries that are there.

Here's one of my older watercolor paintings. These horses were trying to catch a breeze that would help them fight off the biting flies.

One of my older paintings, I name it, "The Crooner".

This was a watercolor painting I did on Yupo, plastic paper. It's very slick, it's not easy to get the watercolors to go where you want them. If you lay a wash down, you better move fast or it will change the paper to white again!

A fast sketch of my brother in law. :) Sometimes my sister asks him to trim his beard, but I don't know why, lol!

This is a collage I did last year. I like to experiment with art and try different mediums. I have a gelli plate I love to use for printing, which made the papers for this collage. Since animals are my favorite subjects, I had to add a couple deer.

I painted this bison, not knowing I was also painting a tribal person within the painting. Do you see him there? I had no idea until I posted this on facebook and people pointed it out to me.

A herd of elk, walking along the hilltop. They were strung out in a long line, but this is a crop of the photo.

"Horse and Dog" When I was a kid, my horse and my dog loved each other. They'd play out in the pasture for hours. It was so fun to watch them! Remembering them, inspired this painting.

Along with creating paintings, I love taking photos. Highlanders are such beautiful cattle. This cow and bull had a barn they could enter to get out of the snow. I loved the look on the cow's face, and the snowflakes coming down.

Sun River Canyon, west of Augusta, Montana. We go there a lot, it's one of our very favorite places in this world.
