I don't want to get out of bed. Rosie has buried under the doona and she's just resting against me with her head on my thigh. She hasn't done this before. Hubby has gone to TAFE. But I will need to get up soon as I have a busy day.

At the end of the day, I come home to this little guy, he let me sleep in this morning, curled up at my belly, I could feel his tiny heart beat, his mate will be over for the weekend, both silly pups, #dogs

I have to interact with a "job provider" today and all I want is to curl up with someone in a doona cave until the sun sets

I will say that while I disagree with major directorial decisions, a lot of the performances are, in isolation, fucking incredible. Bae Doona, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, and Keith David spend pretty much the entire movie firing on all cylinders. Hugh Grant also turns in pretty solid work.

Some will say it's fine because there's also whiteface (Bae Doona, who is Korean, appears as a white woman in at least one plot) but I don't really think that helps, tbh. I don't recall if there's blackface. Sure hope there fuckin isn't.

Ugh. Slightly shitty night (that's what the first 24 hours of finishing opiates after 9 days on them will do).
Nothibg serious, but mildly unpleasant. But I'm up and made a real latte and put the doona cover in the wash ready for today's cleaning session, so go me.

The Silent Sea (i'm a Bae Doona truther), Dark.
