i'm listening to the string trio version of dvorak's romantic pieces (something i've played) and like. the third movement sounds so much more epic with the octave doublestops..... the string trio version doesn't have them... (it also sounds better on viola)

Gosh, I wish I played better than I do!!! I have been taking lessons for decades!!! Presently playing Irish, Scottish and Welsch tunes and trying to get the knack of doublestops.
