I'm probably gonna play DR 2x2 when it comes out, but it would've been much more interesting if they remade DR1 closer to the original vision
The art was a lot grittier but there were also multiple routes where different characters would kill or get killed depending on who you befriended

And like that's the thing. No one anywhere on earth is saying that Chihiro is canonically a trans girl. The people calling her trans and girl are not saying that DR1 is trans representation. They're just saying that trans women exist, generally, as an irl fact.

i grew up a dr fan, i was in the fucking trenches when dr1 released in jpn and we were all reading the fan translation THROUGH FUCKING TUMBLR
