#Solavellan Fic Idea WIP

Small snippet from the time Solas left after "All New, Faded for Her" to his return to Skyhold.
Screenshot of text, reading: “You are a spirit no longer, dear wolf. It is all right.” “I think I love her.” A whisper from the dread wolf's lips. “Think or know?” He sighs, his head in his hands. Desire sat next to him, shifted back into their androgynous form, a hand on his back “It is okay, dear Solas. You are allowed to live. To love. You are allowed to feel joy.” “She sings to that part of me—those parts of me—that I have kept separated for so long. She doesn’t realize…” he let out an angry grunt. “How does she do it? Like she’s calling them all together, calling me to be all at once! How can I—“ “You are a spirit no longer.” “You’ve said that” the rage of his youth fired through him. “You can be, can embrace, the entirety of who you are all at once. You need not be boxed into one or another. You are wisdom. You are pride. You are Fen’Harel. You are Solas. You are my friend. You are her lover.” The last word caught his breath. Oh how he wanted it to be true. “Allow yourself to embrace. Allow yourself to feel fully, Lethallin.”

Image of text, reading: Solas sat on the ground within his prison. Rook's physical appearance had shaken him to his core. A statue stood before him, looking as she did the last he saw her. Anger marked her face now. Not the love, the care, the understanding of their last meeting. Not her brow traced with sweat from their lovemaking, her cheeks flushed with pleasure. No. She's yelling at him. “You lied to me! You lied to me and murdered one of my closest friends!” “You wielded blood magic to trick her! You used to panic at the thought of it and you USED IT!” “How could you?!” he feels a shove against his chest, as if she'd pushed him. “Do you really think I would love you after this, Fen'Harel?” His god name a curse once again. No longer the song she'd sing to him under those shrines. No longer a secret between their whispers. She hated him. As she should. He stared at the statue. He'd take all her hatred, all her words and curses. Just to hear her voice again.
