i do love that the dnd wow book does just kinda still have the black dragonflight goal as the same as it was pre-dragonflight even tho the book is clearly written in midnight’s timeline (haranir are mentioned)

"I'll just create one toon"
...four.
I can stop any time I want to you (partway through Dragonflight, IIRC)

What’s yalls plans for WoW Forever?
I’ll be on the RP ruleset and I’m making AUs of two of my characters to start (so I can have a horde and alliance alt).
My BNet is Riisoz#11996 if anyone wants someone to chat with or do content in the future!!

Neither.
WoW Forever might be "an alternate timeline" which would then be a de-facto sequel to some Bronze Dragonflight questlines to Dragonflight, but it otherwise reads to me as a flex against some private servers whose developers sold out to Blizzard prior to said pservers' closure.

It has the exact same issue as Dragonflight where it really wants the VIBES of a low-stakes story but doesn't commit to that at all so nobody who wants actual low stakes is satisfied, and people who want high stakes hate the meandering on small scale stories

Nelf shaman is an odd one, because it demands congruity with retail, which has no hints for it, and dragonflight is going on half a decade past

Everytime I see stuff like this I just feel more and more deeply that this games story is never getting better. Just feels like they rotated toxicity from shadowlands into a new one for Dragonflight.

Gnolls are iconic as well! I'd love for their culture to be more developed. I liked seeing some of that in Dragonflight

if the blue dragonflight male naming convention attaches a 'gos' suffix, is galapagos a world of warcraft canon compliant blue dragon name?

It's okay I'll play both and ALSO still get back to SWTOR, ESO, and GW2! And I'll try LOTRO at some point!
Just need to uh. Join the Infinite Dragonflight or something I think

They made up a surprisingly heavy amount of the Primalists' all-shaman forces in Dragonflight, so Blizzard's at least been considering the idea of nelf shamans. Though Forever shaman probably wouldn't be connected to the Primalists so what their story could be is up in the air.

Would've made sense to give Shamans and Druids to all races during the Emerald Dream patch in Dragonflight. Since Blizz wants to follow the "it has to be relevant to the story blah blah blah"...

Its been kind of funny watching the general opinions on Dragonflight shift from “Thank god its not abysmal dogshit (Shadowlands) anymore” to “Wait that was actually really boring”
