RIP Dramacool. This truly sucks if you're a fan of j-dramas. It also sucks if you're trying to watch #kdramas that are geolocked. We hatez this 🤬
Screen cap of a tweet from the Dramacool account that reads"we are sorry to announce that we will be closing all 5 websites. Asianc, Dramanice, Watchasia, Runasian, Asianwiki. Due to the copyright, we cannot run the sites anymore. We apologize to every fan that always supported and loved DRAMACOOL. thank you and Best Regards." A small bit of good news: AsianWiki isn't going away. Dramacool had a site with a similar name but they are not affiliated. #kdrama

I watch a lot of Japanese horror movies, and I'm glad they're starting to get fancy boutique 4k bluray box sets.
However, m preference will always be 480p max, hardcoded subs with the DramaCool logo slapped on it.

*sound of the entire timeline scratching at the door of dramacool, trying to convince ourselves we know enough Mandarin and Shanghainese to watch Blossoms in Shanghai without subtitles*

RIP DRAMACOOL 🕊😭

O maior acervo internacional de dramas asiáticos foi perdido. Milhares de séries e filmes que só tinham lá nunca mais serão vistos. #dorama #cdrama #kdrama #jdrama #lakorn

I love hopping around different subscription sites to watch specific dramas. Cancelled Youku where I watched the last DMBJ drama and subscribed to WeTV to watch the new DMBJ drama.

I miss dramacool 😭
