Continuing October being my personal project month I'm uploading some concept art for my game project Dynamo Dodgeball Academy. I had some fun playing around with a looser art-style so I didn't get gummed up on the details.

#IndieDev #GameDev #ConceptArt #DynamoDodgeballAcademy #DrawnWithKrita
Concept art for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy. Image of one of the massive dodgeball halls (a giant sports hall with a bunch of dodgeball pitches present on the floor). The dodgeball pitches have retractable walls which only one pitch has deployed. Some students are playing a game inside while some others watch from nearby and the overhead walkway on one side. Nonetheless the hall is very empty and clearly much below full capacity. The walls are painted green up the halfway mark with skylights and fluorescent lights in the ceiling. Concept art for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy. Intended to be facing outward from a large circular courtyard that forms the games main hub. In this case towards one of the newer classrooms which has a highly reflective glass front. A path leads towards the entryway and a student looks towards it from the path. Behind the building the top of one of the Dodgeball halls can just about be seen. Concept art for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy. Intended to be facing outward from a large circular courtyard that forms the games main hub. In this case looking towards one of the older classrooms. This one is brick and has bushes in front. A path leads to it's door and a student is facing it from the path. Trees are visible behind the building. Concept Art for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy. This is concept art of Marichka's Cave where the first boss fight against her takes place (unless I change my mind). The back wall is pock marked with impact craters and a bed of some kind and piles of junk and personal effects are present to the right hand side. To the left one of the high tech dodgeball pitches is present like in the other image of the dodgeball hall (I haven't yet decided how/why that got installed there, maybe it'll never be explained). Marichka (The game's first boos) stands back facing away from us at the far centre of the cave.

Fanart of some of my favourite Horror girlies from various Horror/Horror adjacent media. I very rarely draw this many character to a piece so I'm pretty worn out from this.

#LordProscuitto #SadakoYamamura #LilyLovebraids #SayaNoUta #CassidyFnaf #Fanart #DrawnWithKrita
6 Characters around a table in a run down looking room. From left to right: - Lord Prosciutto (Mogeko Castle) on the far side of table sipping tea from a cup - Sadako Yamamura (Ring, the book specifically) on the near side of table looking over her shoulder and staring into camera - Lily Lovebraids (Poppy Playtime Chapter 5: Broken Things) on the far side of the table enthusiastically serving tea to everyone, braids out and holding a tea tray raised in her right hand - Saya (Saya No Uta) sitting on the near side of the table facing away from us but scooting away from one of Lily's approaching braid/tentacles which is entering from stage right with a teapot - Cassidy (Fnaf: Wtf Au by Bi-Shop on Tumblr) on the far side of the table, holding C.C. (from the same AU) away from Lily while glaring at her. - C.C. being held my cassidy with a worried expression.

Fanart of Lib and Galatea from Yu-Gi-Oh!'s World Legacy Storyline. These two's relationship I always found very bizarre so I decided to do an art about it. I also had fun experimenting with outfits.

#Yugioh #YugiohFanart #WorldLegacy #Fanart #DrawnWithKrita
Lib the World Key Blademaster and Galatea the Orcust Automaton walking down a street to stage left. Galatea is further from camera leaned over apparently saying something to Lib who is listing with her arms folded behind her head. They are not wearing there regular outfits, Lib is wearing purple winter coat with a pleated skirt and Galatea is wearing some kind of black and gold techwear jacket. There is a brick building in the background.

Fanart of Lily Lovebraids (Poppy Playtime Chapter 5: Broken Things) wearing the costume of Dark Magician Girl (Yu-Gi-Oh!). She is posing with one leg off the ground, holding her hat with one hand and her staff with the other. Behind her is a backdrop with the weird circular symbol that always appears in the background of Dark Magician Girl Card art. Her braids are coiling around her as they are want to do.

Recently completed the game Valkyrie Saga and am drawing fanart of Roll, the main character, to commemorate the occasion. Certainly an interesting game, a lot of Babdi-ing up sheer rock walls, but I had fun.

#ValkyrieSaga #ValkyrieSagaFanart #Fanart #DrawnWithKrita #IndieGameFanart
Fanart of Roll the Valkyrie (Main character of the video game Valkyrie Saga) Hanging off her spear that is embedded in a stone wall. She is quite a ways of the ground and looks bored out of her mind. There is an enormous black stone obelisk in the background. She has a bright halo which is giving off a lens flare effect.

Fanart of Ladiva and Cagliostro from Granblue Fantasy. I didn't have as much time/energy for shading so it ended up more stark than initial concept.

#GranblueFantasy #Granblue #CagliostroGranblue #Ladiva #Fastiva #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of Cagliostro and Ladiva (a.k.a. Fastiva in Japanese) posing at a railing of what is presumeably the Grandcypher. the wind is blowing to the left of frame and Ladiva is looking in that direction while Cagliostro looks at her grimoire while seated upon said railing. There is the same trans pride flag shaded sunset in the background that the artist used last year because I only have one idea apparently. Happy Pride.

Fanart of Rouka Numachi, my favourite Monogatari Girl. It's actually been quite a while since I've watched any Monogatari Series, I need to pick it back up again.

#RoukaNumachi #Hanamonogatari #MonogatariSeries #HanamonogatariFanart #MonogatariFanart #AnimeFanart #SurugaDevil #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of Rouka Numachi from Hanamonogatari. She is passing a basketball from her right hand to her left while smirking into the camera. Her body has patches of brown fur on her right shoulder and left hand (If you don't know why that is don't think about it, it's spoilers). The background is a somewhat abstract representation of the basketball court from the finale of Hanamonogatari because the artist ran out of time to draw anything more involved.

Fanart of Circus Baby from FNAF: Sister Location. I really like that she's canonically 7 foot 2 and wanted to make a fanart that shows that off. Disproportionately large things are fun.

#CircusBaby #FnafSisterLocation #Fnaf #FnafFanart #CircusBabyFanart #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of Circus Baby (from FNAF: Sister Location) picking up a security guard with her right hand. She is holding him by the top of his head and has lifted him fully off the ground where he's struggling. The scene is viewed from an angle looking up from slightly below. The Scene is dark with Circus Baby's eyes glowing green.

And the final design is decided. I ended up opting for something based on design D but with colour values more similar to design E. I think the green gives her a little more flair than the plain black of some of the other designs.

#CharacterDesign #DynamoDodgeballAcademy #DrawnWithKrita
Once again the character that appeared in the prior image now sporting her final, dark green and purple, colour scheme. Once again she's "thowing up the horns" towards the camera and sticking her tongue out. Her outfit is spikey and her hair is in a ponytail (which is actually a bit of a side ponytail but that's sill not 100% clear from this angle because it's the same image). Her name's Vicki.

It's been a while since I've uploaded anything related to that Dodgeball based JRPG I'm developing (Dynamo Dodgeball Academy). Here's Vicki, who's music themed and can scream real loud.

Which colours are your favourites?

Six images of the same character in various different colours labelled with the letters A to F. She's "thowing up the horns" (I believe it's called) towards the camera and sticking her tongue out. Her outfit is spikey and her hair is in a ponytail (which is actually a bit of a side ponytail but that's not 100% clear from this angle).

Me and my friends have been playing some "Pit of Goblin" lately so I decided to do fanart of Big Brunna one of the vendors from the game.

#PitOfGoblin #PitOfGoblinFanart #Goblin #Fanart #BigBrunna #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of Big Brunna from the video game "Pit of Goblin". She is a large muscular goblin with purple eyes, yellow/green skin and green hair. She has a large nose, horns, and a piercing in one ear. She stands at a wooden table resting her left hand upon it while her right hand she places against her neck as if stretching. Her face is upturned away from camera but her eye looks downwards at the viewer.

Fanart of Lily Lovebraids from Poppy Playtime chapter 5 who I've been enjoying immensely as a character. Here she is pictured coming to the realisation that maybe noone is going turn up to today's Tea Party either.

#LilyLovebraids #PoppyPlaytime #LilyLovebraidsFanart #Fanart #DrawnWithKrita
Image of Lily Lovebraids from Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 soft of just dissasociating in her kitchten. We are facing towards her fridge while she stands on right of frame staring off past camera right. Her hands are placed on the central counter upon which is a tray of crumpets, her cookbook and some crockery. Her hair is uncoiled with the main braid snaking behind her.

Fanart of Tao from the game Gunfire Reborn. I'd been meaning to draw her for a while and the opportunity came when I had to pivot off drawing a different fanart due to *life things*. I enjoy her bubblegum wuxia aesthetic.

#GunfireReborn #GunfireRebornFanart #Fanart #DrawnWithKrita
Tao from the hit game Gunfire Reborn is pointing a gun at the camera while pushing her hair back with her free hand. Tao is an anthropomorphic rabbit with pink hair. The gun she is holding is intended to be the submachine gun "Angelic Aura" from the same game, though you can't really tell because it's pointed directly at the camera. There is a stone brick wall behind her and on her back she carries a Chinese Dao (I think, it might be a different chinese sword). She is wearing sandals.

Back on making character designs for that dodgeball based JRPG I've been working on. Here we have Jason, one of the optional party members.

Being the fire power's guy does somewhat limit available colour palettes but which one is your favourite?

#gamedev #indiedev #characterdesign #drawnwithkrita
3 different colour palettes for the same character (Jason from my JRPG project). He's a black teen with spikey hair and goggles (in place of a headband). He's holding up a conjured flame to camera with his right hand.

I've been getting back into Muse Dash lately and enjoying the new character's particularly Divine Armor Buro (pictured here). Though I do acknowledge rendering her in more detail in this fanart sort of misses the Joke of the character.

#MuseDash #DivineArmorBuro #MuseDashFanart #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of "Divine Armor Buro", a character from the video game Muse Dash. She stands smiling, with arms spread and her flaming wings out. Behind her is a load of the number 9 in a way that is intended to evoke the style of the absurd stat numbers that appear around her in the game. Though the artist regrets that he doesn't know the precise font used. Her skin is pale white due to her appearing with full on hex code:FFFFFF white skin in the game but there is debate to be has as to whether than is art style or canon skin colour.

As is tradition the first artwork I make (i.e. start) in November is Saya from my favourite visual novel Song Of Saya. I'm trying out something new with how I'm doing the hair in this one.

Fanart of Saya from the hit NitroPlus Visual Novel "Song of Saya" a.k.a. "Saya No Uta". She stands half in shadow with her left hand (which is illuminated) reaching towards the camera while her right side (which is in shadow) appears tentacly and monsterous.

October is working on project month for me so we have another illustration of the main character of my JRPG I'm working on. This time designing her robot parts (Colour scheme F seemed to be everyones favourite so we're going with that). #originalcharacter #gamedev #characterdesign #drawnwithkrita
Kyra, protagonist of my Work-In-Progress JRPG, in a dark room having taken off her poncho to reveal a decidedly bionic upper body complete with a mysterious ping glass container in the chest. The is holding her garment draper over her right arms and is looking at it with a look of some sadness.

I decided I should get around to making a little Selfsona/OC for myself so I could have a proper Icon. So I made this little robot dude. Name pending, unfortunately, because I'm bad at coming up with names.

#OC #OCArt #Selfsona #DrawnWithKrita
A little robot selfsona/OC character I've come up with standing in space on a barren (and easy to draw) planetoid. They have a glass dome helmet with a spherical head floating inside with a simple smiley face by way of expression. Their colour scheme is predominantly white with blue piping providing accent colour (and some tertiary black/gray colouring). In their hand they hold what appears to be a gold figurine of a girl inside a SKONJA (Available at your local IKEA #notsponsored) which they are regarding inquisitively. Their other hand is behind their back saving me from having to draw it.

I recently finished reading "Magical Girl Mechanical Heart" by Natalie "Thundamoo" Maher. Super fun book, highly reccomended. So I ended up doing a fanart of Anath who ended up a lot more complicated to draw than I anticipated.

#MagicalGirlMechanicalHeart #Fanart #BookFanart #DrawnWithKrita
Fanart of Anath from the novel "Magical Girl Mechanical Heart" by Natalie "Thundamoo" Maher, available now on kindle. This is her from her first fight with Fulgora just before she transforms for the first time. She has an animal like appearance with a squirrel like tail curling behind her. She has black sclera and is covered in sharp yellow crystals with curved crystal blades on her forearms. She is wiping blood from her mouth with her left hand while her other arm hangs limp. Her crystals are glowing, because the artist couldn't be bothered to make the light of the sun shine through them. She stands inside a shattered storefront (we are facing out towards the parking lot).

Runru (From Puniru Is A Kawaii Slime Season 2) reaches toward the camera with her left hand (but it's in an ambiguously POV mirror shot so it's on our right). She's in a darkened room and the mirror has cracks on the surface. She wears a sad expression and is leaning towards our right.

I'm once again working on making some MTG tokens and I figured I'd go ahead and do the squirrel and the rat together in the same image for a bit of dynamism. Also, this kinda went way outside my artistic comfort zone without me realising it.

#originalart #artonbsky #drawnwithkrita #art
A slightly anthropomorphic (as in their wearing clothes and standing on their hind legs) fighting in a shallow pool in a cave. The squirrel on the right weilds a fencing sword and wears a red scarf. The rat on the left weilds a polearm and is dressed more scraggly. Their weapons have clashed in the middle, producing sparks that illuminate the scene.
