2:30 AM: Fall back asleep, only to spend part of the night arguing with my own subconscious that dreaming about mowing the lawn is a complete waste of precious sleep and frankly unacceptable. Seriously boring. Threaten to drown it in THC #Subconscious #DreamLogic #MetaPhysics #Consciousness

Elm Street 2 is my favorite one unironically. It has great themes, creative use of Freddy’s powers, nails the sense of dreamlogic in a way most of the series doesn’t really, and Freddy looks the creepiest he ever has in that movie.

A Goddess is born. Mary Aoi III (三代目葵マリー) turns a work retreat into a surreal, Gothic awakening with blue light, rope, and newspapers. There’s no escape from her beauty.

Sharing this oldie for @victoriaspires.bsky.social #PromptCombo #DreamLogic - it's always nice when poetry prompts remind you of poems you've almost forgotten about 🌝 #BskyPoets #PoetryCommunity
A poem titled 'Hypothetical Love' by Francesca L Rolle: My love for you is infinite, it is eternal, it is pure, My love for you is without failing, For it is no more than hypothetical, In my dreams I will carry you, And safely tucked away, there, you will stay. Never yearning, never fearing, Never to know the light of day.

Designing a one-shot based entirely on a folk song and a bad dream. It's gonna get weird.

I had a dream where I got access to a secret gov’t sky screen, only for emergencies. Naturally, I played nukes exploding in space. Mass panic. Then I switched to the Scooby-Doo intro. Chaos turned to confusion. They really shouldn’t have trusted me.

Dear @victoriaspires.bsky.social,
Thank you for the #promptcombo on #dreamlogic.

Morning checklist:
☑️ pajamas
☑️ croissant
☑️ cosmic dinosaur summoning

He’s been up since dawn drawing with a paintbrush made of moonlight. I’m just here making coffee and pretending this is normal.

AI-generated image of a young boy in soft pajamas kneeling on a bed in early morning light. He’s painting a glowing golden dinosaur on the wall with a small brush. A breakfast tray with coffee and a croissant sits nearby. The image has a dreamy, magical quality.

I liked it—a good meal for the wolf within me that wants creepy surreal dreamlogic horror, though as you said it's not without an issue or two (possibly a bit *too* chaotic toward the end?).

Some guy named Robert Eggers was in charge of costumes. Probably worth keeping an eye on him too ;^)

Hi @victoriaspires.bsky.social Vic. Here's my sixth for your cracking #promptcombo #DreamLogic from my Red Ceiling Press collection, "Wolf Eye':
11. Let Somebody else’s shoes walk a mile inside me. Footprints mark my internal skin. Sun dries the marks into prints sold on the street corners of my eyes. Easels of my breath illustrate speed of light to passers by who throw ideas of change synaptic rivulets, neuron canals, sacred water riverbrain flows in my head, fountainbrain channels my ideas, lakebrain plays the fey, electric rivulets move earth.

Hi @victoriaspires.bsky.social Vic. Here's my fifth response to your brilliant #promptcombo ##DreamLogic. Again, its from my collection "Wolf Eye Territory."
I Found Another's Old ribcage in the loft. It had been used as an aviary. Webs had been spun from one rib to another. Between the cushions on the sofa I found another's last breath. It hung in the threads like a mist. Yesterday, moved books on the shelf and found another's spine. All vertebrae intact. I counted. It was laid down as if asleep. I could assemble another's body if I wished but prefer to see them as ornaments to be rediscovered.

Hi @victoriaspires.bsky.social Vic. Here's my fourth response to your excellent #promptcombo #DreamLogic. It's from my collection "Wolf Eye Territory."
A Tree Is a walking cloud unloading bucketfuls when it rises into autumn. Trees move from canthus to canthus. Conkers are droplets, a spiny splash A castle, a dragon, a hand reaching, shapes gust blown in the skies of its branches. Each a strand of cloud. Look for the darkening bark of a rain tree. Look for the whisps, horses tails, salmon shaped twigs. When berries fall from the grain of clouds, trees are wet with sweetness, but beware the red rain berries. Clouds are the masts of the skies forest.

Hi @victoriaspires.bsky.social Vic. Here is my third response to your fantastic #promptcombo #DreamLogic:
One Fish Leaps out top then plops back into my fish bowl head. It is my inner fish. My world turns on the horn of a cow. The cow stands on one fish. I dream one fish leaps out top of my fish bowl head. I hope my hair doesn't get wet. My fish in flight elicits a smile, My fish in water makes me fret. How to keep the flight long haul, A higher jump, a practiced glide.
