She wears the white outfit shown in the first post for most of her screen time; here are some more pictures. #angiedickinson #dressedtokill1980 #briandepalma #slasherfilm #hitchcockhomage #psychohomage #filmfashion #filmcostume #fashionhistory
Angie Dickinson, in a scene from her movie "Dressed to Kill" (1980). Here, having been seduced by a handsome stranger in an art museum, and having spotted him dangling her earlier-discarded glove provocatively out the window of the taxi where he awaits her, she's walking quickly to the taxi to join him (what follows is definitely NSFW!) She wears a white coat over a white, button-front white dress with high-heeled, strappy white shoes. The photo originally comes from Alamy & is watermarked. Angie Dickinson (right) with Brian De Palma (left), discussing the taxi-seduction scene being set up while filming "Dressed To Kill" (1980). This image also comes from Alamy & is watermarked. As the weather is cold (winter of 1979-80) in the outdoor location where the scene is being shot, the bearded De Palma is wearing a heavy jacket (in another photo, he's wearing a knit cap, but temperatures are probably a bit higher at this moment). Dickinson, whose head is turned toward DePalma as she discusses the scene with him, is wearing an all-white outfit; long coat over button-front white belted dress, with high-heeled strappy white shoes, holding her large white purse under her left arm. The pair is standing over some sort of wooden frame which is likely intended to indicate where Dickinson should stand during the actual scene filming. Black-and-white photograph of director Brian De Palma (left) with actress Angie Dickinson (right), discussing a scene about to be shot (the famous "taxi sex" scene) for the movie "Dressed to Kill" (1980). The weather being cold, De Palma is wearing a knit cap and a heavy jacket, with a viewfinder slung around his neck. Dickinson is, again, in her all-white outfit (white coat, dress and shoes), holding her large white purse in both hands. The single glove she still has (after having dropped her other glove in the museum during the earlier museum-seduction scene) is grasped in her left hand; during the actual scene, she'll throw it away before seeing the earlier-discarded glove being dangled provocatively out the taxi window by her would-be paramour. Actress Angie Dickinson in a scene from her 1980 movie "Dressed to Kill" (specifically, the therapy-session scene with Michael Caine). The color photograph is autographed by her in blue ink; she's wearing the all-white outfit she spends most of her screen time in, sitting in a high-backed wooden chair, her shapely legs (which she was famous for in her younger days) elegantly crossed, dangling one high-heeled foot provocatively (she's subtly trying to seduce her therapist). Note that the legs of the chair have been lifted off the floor with wooden blocks (likely so as to bring Dickinson into better camera view), as well as the vacuum against the wall over her right shoulder.
