This week’s #MondayReads is Desolate Dawn by Kristen Kail Roberts. Picked this (and the bookmark) up at an author’s fair last month, finally getting around to it. I remember the author pitching to me in DnD terms (Rogue and Paladin team up). Pandering? Kinda. But it worked.

KNOW YOUR TROPE: Apocalypse Maiden refers to any character fated to trigger the end of the world. Often, they're an "Innocent" or close to the Hero, forcing them to choose between killing them for the greater good, or risking it all to protect them. 📚💙✍️
