I'm thinking I'm about having at least one other new webcomic host mirror with my Tapas one disappearing. Leaning towards NamiComi, Drunkduck, or Fables but not sure yet.

Wow! So cool to have DrunkDuck show off our comic, especially when I've only been posting it there for a short while ;w; How nice!

Day 5 of #DDFemaleCreatorsMonth and the #webcomic is

Kuro Shuri by @kikirini.bsky.social!

Strange creatures are after the unusual friends Yasha and Hisaki, but what's a little demon possession between friends?

Read it here: www.theduckwebcomics.com/Kuro_Shouri/

#womenincomics #fantasy
Cover for the webcomic Kuro Shuri by Kikirini, art by Kikirini! Image shows four students on a wide school outdoors corridor. They're all wearing versions of their school uniform. Two students in front are walking, one right behind looks angry about something, and the third one (the only one in a skirt) is looking on in amusement.

(Obvious disclaimers: I'm a different person then, the art, the web design, etc etc, but here, take a look at where we came from.)

...I literally said yesterday Tapas hasn't been the same since Kakao took over. Well no shit since they're apparently shutting down the site?? 😳 My lord I was NOT expecting that.

Uhh see all the Tapas users who can't afford the extreme censorship of Webtoon at ComicFury or Drunkduck I guess??

As of tomorrow, DrunkDuck will be caught up with the remake of my comic. It's been very quiet over there, so I HOPE some people are reading and making it worth my time, but unfortunately it's impossible to know. 😭
I'm not quitting either way. I need comic mirrors without AI, thanks!

What webcomic hosting sites are good? We want to set up our own site eventually. We currently have an archive on drunkduck but it's not great for mobile devices. Webtoons sucks shit as does any other host that will censor us in any way.

I've been doing my comic since 2008 and I've had my own site for it since then. I mirrored at smackjeeves, drunkduck and finally tapas and webtoon. I only found an audience when I mirrored at webtoon.

Now going to be debating if I should half-ass revive my Webtoon mirrors, and/or dust off my ancient Drunkduck account and start uploading stuff there again.

Hope ComicFury can handle all the incoming Tapas refugees. 😥
