Now spinning at my house, one of the greatest remix albums in history (really):

No Protection (1995) by Massive Attack v Mad Professor, wherein the latter (a dubmaster supreme) turns the former's Protection LP into an echoing spaced-out riddimfest, while retaining the original's beautiful essence

KING OF DUB •••DUBWISE BASS & DRUM RHYTHMWISE This form of music started in dance halls, in the early 60s, by ome of the pioneer records producers, Mainly LEE SCRATCH ERRY and BUNNY'STRIKER' LEE, both of whom I've been tremendously influence... As a youth, from JONES and TRENCH TOWN, Ive learned you must have, an adequate power amplifier, right preamp and speakers..... For the right sound and effect, KING TUBBYS "the dubmaster" is a must, knowing when to bring in the Rhythm and leggo the Bass and Drum. This album its clean, heavy and right effects; we diged into the Rhythm vault and came up with, TEN of Hardest Rhythm Tracks. Youll be Convene that this is the. King of Dubvall BRAD. Special thanks

King Tubby - The Dubmaster Presents Dub From The Roots (1975)

Widely regarded as the first LP credited to King Tubby (there were a few in 1975!) this is a jaw droppingly great dub LP. Pushing the boundaries with bass and drum mixes that still sound fresh.
