"[E]ducation fiction invites researchers not only to analyse what is, but also to explore what could be, and to ask who decides: whose classrooms, whose futures, whose exclusions are treated as settled," write Stefan Hrastinksi, @eam0.bsky.social, & Lina Rahm

I will just write “I don’t need ducation” on the bill and send it back 😎 🖕🏼

What a silly meme.

Modern infrastructure, universal healthcare, UBS or free education generally don't require increasing debt - the other way around.

There's debt because there's no free ducation, universal healthcare, infrastructure or UBS. The debt is from upkeeping & developing inequality.

One of the (many) salient points about this is that this is laughable when the errors are easily spotted.

But what happens when harder to spot errors come through? Biases that are harder to spot? Propaganda hiding as policy?

That's because a lot of Americans are too fucking stupid to understand that when your country is the leader of the free world, that it will also ruin that same free world the moment you let a lunatic rule your country....for the 2nd!!! time. I think normal ducation has got to damn expensive for them

I don’t think they could’ve been any more clear on this: the cranks who have run the show for six years *despise* the people who vote Labour, they have utter burning contempt for them, and they want to get rid of them and win over conservatives, reactionaries and racists.

"[E]ducation has never been only about access to information. Students need much more to become capable members of society. They need the ability to assess the quality of information, recognize strong work, and connect ideas." #edtech #ILoveEdTech #ImFutureReady #elearning #AIEdu
AI Won’t Replace Educators. But It is Changing How Students Learn
The question for educators: How to know when AI supports real learning.   "Information is more easily accessible than ever before. Anyone anywhere can ask an AI tool a question and receive an answer that seems reasonable, at least on the surface. It’s not surprising, then, to see predictions of the demise of traditional schools and colleges."

It's Time for Higher Ed to Get Serious About AI Strategy
Without a coordinated strategy that involves multiple academic and administrative units across the entire campus, colleges risk wasting resources, duplicating efforts, and ultimately failing to deliver on the promise of deploying technology to improve learning and operations.

To be clear, I don't actually go to Threads. I just scroll Instagram's beekeeping/bee-ducation communities because bees, but Insta has an unblockable feature that shoves Threads posts onto you, and sometimes, what I see in that feature is scientifically fascinating.

Also, I thrive on BookTuber tea.
