like... if the same kenzerco dudes got a dungeontube lobotomy and started optimizing for reactionary grifting, instead of being animated by the fact that a bad idea gets funnier the more effort you put into it (what i've always presumed to be their design philosophy), you'd get deathbringer.

Leaving dungeontube has been the best thing for my mental. The flood of negative engagement content has allowed bigots, grifters, & egocentric ppl to gain prominence the space. There are good ppl in the space but some of your favs are problematic. Disconnect & find joy. It's the best medicine.

How many times have I said I don't begrudge people keeping the lights on, a roof overhead, and food on the table? Dungeons & Dragons (TableTop RolePlaying Game) YouTube isn't dying. Some people are crying foul because their numbers are down. The rest of us aren't going anywhere.

And half of the "How to GM like Mercer/Mulligan" videos are full of generic advice that nearly every GM I know already does.
Again, no shade toward those guys. But dungeontube is flooded with this "content".

1000% dungeontube or whatever ppl call it is click bait garbage. Keep numbers up. Whatever. It all sucks, everyone's opinions are wrong, and most of them CONSTANTLY spout easily searchable misinformation that they would know if they were actually fans of what they're making their living.
