DusB substrates and oxidative stress phenotype
Using AlkAnilineSeq, we mapped VcDusB substrates in V. cholerae and identified U17 dihydrouridylation in 26 tRNA isodecoders (decoding 32 codons). Despite no fitness defect in rich media, ΔdusB cells are highly sensitive to H₂O₂.
