Is this the most arty-farty dustsheet in the history of dustsheets, or what?

And probably still got the dustsheets over it somewhere... the last execution by Mme Guillotine was in 1977. 😲

Cheerful this morning, aren't we. 🤦

That's it then, it's all over. It's just gradually shut up all the rooms, put dustsheets on the furniture, close the doors and turn out the lights. I'm sad about that. www.timeshighereducation.com/news/no-majo...

I'm off to see this on Saturday! I've just covered the car in dustsheets so I shouldn't have to de-ice it so much before my drive to the airport tomorrow :D

Just taken delivery of a load of dustsheets and masking tape. I'd forgotten we'd decided to decorate in January. Oh hell. 😢

Daughter’s coming to help with the painting tomorrow. Haven’t done any of the preparation I’d planned. Dare I leave sorting out dustsheets etc until morning?

The Final Wall (because I noped out just after 1:00 last night).

🎶 Hello, basement my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again…

Good morning butterflies. Dissidents ASSEMBLE!
*no Ottercorrect, dissidents, not dustsheets.

I'm off to Limassol for a consultation with the radiologist. Yesterday was more fun, I took Lola to the Furry Dogmother for grooming. She looks wonderful!

I did a days work for a customer. When I got home and started to unload my tools I found the customers dog curled up, sound asleep among the dustsheets. I could have done without the 90 minute round trip to take him home.

Now my children are older, the inventory of broken things doesn't seem to be quite such a theme of weekends... That said, this week I can offer: coffee grinder, mouldy bookcase and hammock (which was storing dustsheets in the shed)

Child and I had a walk near Fflint Castle this afternoon. It was hot.

The opposite side of the Dee estuary from our trip on Saturday.

The ladders and dustsheets are out as our volunteer work party start their hard work this Winter! Some much needed TLC around the Centre to start off the off-season and keep the place in running for all our visitors!

I have always been painting this kitchen. I shall always be painting this kitchen. There has been no Before. There will be no After. There is only Kitchen. Anything that is not Kitchen is but an illusion, a half-remembered dream, glimpsed from the window of the moving train that is sleep.

Ha ha my weekend will be shit

All of my recording equipment is under dustsheets, so no show this week

Today I am painting the ceiling.
And moving dustsheets and ladders as I go.

When you reach house reassembly, big sheets of cardboard make brilliant dustsheets, underlay for dustsheets, temporary dustproofing cover for doorways, stair/worktop/window protectors, doormats, barriers to rooms while floor finishes are curing. They’re like post-its for buildings…

I’ll never look at dustsheets in quite the same way from now on…

Been core workout day, with paint roller on a long stick. Couldn’t reach the bit above the top landing window (bah), but also didn’t fall down the stairs (yay?).

Just listened to the best ever episode of Top of the Pops - the one broadcast on

It’s literally

ALL KILLER NO FILLER 🙌

I’m now (almost) tempted to take the dustsheets off my Morris Minor that’s been languishing in the garage for years!

I'm not sure I can achieve that particular Zen pose. Think I'm more sack of spuds wrapped in dustsheets!

On MSC Virtuosa a couple of years ago. Wish I was there now. I'm still surrounded by dustsheets and workmen.

Just over there is a US Sherman. They had so much white paint they even painted the roadward faces of their tracks, which seems extravagant. Have they any left? No, they used the last of it up painting the inside just to be super safe. "Grab some dustsheets, mates," cries the Churchill commander.
