Tomorrow, there will be an eCash fork. BTC holders all get some free crypto. North Korea will receive a pretty high allocation for their billions of bitcoin. Wonder if NK timed the hack before the fork for extra profit.

What we need is actual ecash from the US Treasury. Real cash with all of cash's characteristics, but without the bulky germ-laden paper.

They're also launching, I think, ecash, kinda like what blacksky is doing if I understand correctly. That's actually interesting as it could be a way around paypros. Just keep an eye on it

own payment processor and enforce the rules. It's not difficult to pay each other with it directly, but there are other ways/layers we can use as well such as lightning, federations, ecash and such that people can experiment with. Furries are really smart so I wouldn't doubt they can innovate...
