I couldn't believe it at first, and have to keep thinking they just broke something on the backend again, because the idea that it'd be intentional policy is, even in the current environment, insane.
Supposedly eFile still works for them? So people with attorneys at least have that, hopefully.

ftr there is no complaint on file with pacer so the possiibility that the pro se filing is a prank is high and i wouldn't want to be the person whose pacer efile account it was submitted under. the other way you know it's fake is that it was filed in miami and not fort pierce.

Yeah, they've been blocking direct efile for years. Thankfully the Biden administration finally said fuck it and is implementing a free direct file program, but it's only for people with uncomplicated taxes as of yet

my small tax refund is now six days past the 21 day efile deadline window with no signs of being approved. State refund already received, so you have made the IRS less functional than the WV government, which takes some work, DOGE.

I *think* I'll be able to file the rest of the extensions today and have nothing but refund returns and efile auths left to finish for Monday.
