Le télescope spatial à rayons X eROSITA a récemment publié la plus grande carte de sources à haute énergie jamais créée (sur la moitié du ciel)

Trous noirs, amas de galaxies, pulsars, résidus de supernovae, tous les phénomènes les plus extrêmes de l'Univers s'y trouvent.

Ce monstrueux filament de matière intergalactique a été détecté par l'instrument eROSITA à bord du télescope spatial SRG.

La température du gaz le composant est estimée à 10 millions de degrés et émet donc une grande quantité de rayons X

It's data release day. Both Sloan DR20 and eRosita DR2 (the Black Hole Mapper part of SDSS follows up on some of the eRosita sources). In this eRosita data release we are now nearing 2 million point sources, an unprecedented number for X-ray surveys (most will be AGN).

Gas within the Solar System's heliosphere emits a complex pattern of soft X-rays. Dennerl et al. use the eROSITA X-ray survey to disentangle this foreground emission and determine where in the heliosphere it comes from.

Super Frage! Wir denken, dass sie davon kommen, dass das Schwarze Loch in der Mitte der Milchstraße früher aktiver war - es gab Strahlungsausbrüche, die großräumige Strukturen ins Gas drumrum "hineingeblasen" haben, wie wenn Staub zur Seite gepustet wird.
