I’m helping participants of @antidote-network.bsky.social in Bratislava, and we reached a very specific problem - there is no easy way to connect eXistDB to vscode so they can use more advanced features than Exide provides. So I made a little extension for Web DAV. It’s open source.

We are using EpiDoc xml encoding and eXistdb to publish online. We will also make all of our data available as soon as it is ready

We are pleased to announce that eXist-db was accepted into the Docker Sponsored OpenSource (DSOS) program on Monday.

Our images are analyzed by Docker Scout and we managed to get to zero critical and high severity issues. :tada:

I’ve been getting a bit annoyed trying to make ExistDB + TEI Publisher run in Docker behind ProxyPass. Honestly, it was pain.
So I thought, why not inflict a little more pain on myself?
Decided to try and create my own XML database in Rust.

I know there is an existing extension for eXistDB, but it seems not maintained anymore.

3.) Warum? Weil die Basis auf @existdb eine Schwachstelle darstellte und die Zahl der Server, auf denen das läuft, enden wollend ist. Damit waren die Seiten auch gefährdet, mit einem Update überhaupt nicht mehr zu funktionieren, vielleicht unmittelbar nach Projektende.
