A white plate with blue flowers around the edge is filled with a selection of fresh figs, ready to eat. There is a mix of ripe, dark purple figs and less ripe, green figs. The figs are arranged in an arrangement that fills the plate, with some showing their stems, while others are turned over to show their bases. The plate is set on a light, slightly speckled surface. The photo is taken from above in natural light, highlighting the textures and colors of the fruit.

My CSA box came with fresh apricots. I don’t know if I’ve ever made anything with fresh apricots!
