For example, I was the first to De-Specialize Star Wars, and cut its BTS into a feature. I restored The Thief and the Cobbler, Raggedy Ann & Andy 1977, pretty much anything rare from The Muppets, tons of rarities. I recommended motion transfer colorization to the Doctor Who fandom (EBSynth Beta).

This was test I did by building a guide animation in Blender, then running a bunch of hand drawn keyframes through EBsynth.
It came out quite well, but was a lot of work and probably not worth it.

As for how this works, EBsynth takes the source video (in this case my Blender animation) and your keyframes then attempts to interpolate the inbetween frames by referencing both against each other. The more keyframes generally the better the outcome.

I want to try to get back into animation a little bit. I knew some after effects but this was 15+ years ago...how is it to use now/is there something better? I use photoshop mostly so dreams is out I guess. Interested in Ebsynth, but if these programs use any genAI I have 0 interest and will avoid.
