#eceonomy
I swear to god 'the economy is objectively good and my hog is thriving' is a unhinged eceonomy-sized dumper forged in the consumerist heart of the endless ocean of human SHIT to torment me, specifically.

As a Millennial I've never known a "good eceonomy". That's not a type of economy I'm familiar with. The economy is either "ok, for the moment" or "brutal"

F*ck Trump. Europe remembers WO II, can and should become more proud and reunite. Our eceonomy can handle this. Lets increase the defense capacity fast. We don't need them. Ukraine can lead the innovation in the technology, Europe can build and invest and ramp up production.

but, but, but...republicans absolutely suck at managing the eceonomy so this fact will fall on deaf ears. Similarly, immigrants (documented and not) are a huge boost to the economy, but cruelty is republicans objectives, not boosting the economy.

We need to talk about capitalism. Why won’t Labour do it?
The government has its five missions. But the deeper cause of Britain’s malaise is the unhealthy and unhappy nature of the modern eceonomy

Come about April 2026. thereabouts, you'll see the eceonomy shrinking at a level of the Covid shutdowns.

We need to talk about capitalism. Why won’t Labour do it?

⚪ We have seen photo-ops in cabinet room of Starmer & his govt. having cosy chats with the head honchos of Blackrock.

Blackrock *are* the capitalists.

yeah its true theyre gonna put rockets on the economy and send it to space and we will be left here eceonomy-less
News from the mausoleums of 1979 and 1997: Labour are AI salesmen in hock to Palantir, with nothing to say except truly meaningless Blairite platitudes about leadership. The Tories are just the National Front. Please enjoy the freedom and prosperity bestowed by five decades of Thatcherism carefully.

Oh dear! Once more, for the incurably nostalgic, 'Labour' is a c21st brand, no more connected to it's glorious (and inglorious) history than 'MG Motors'.

Change. Stopping him from deporting people without due process. Stopping him from tanking the eceonomy. Illegal exec orders. Etc. etc. etc.

Anyway, I have decided to make my stand by making my purchases count. No Walmart, No Amazon, No Target. The only thing these billionaires understand is dollars

Companies should pay tax WHERE THEY SELL STUFF & KEEP CAPITAL LOCAL.

While we are starting to realise how the US tech companies are capturing our minds & fixing them on what we call a phone, but is really a new and different kind of drug – there is less discussion about how these companies defy Adam Smith’s notion of competition.

The fact that EVERY major news organization pretty much glossed over this reality still has me pipin' hot. Sure, it got a few mentions on NPR and CNN, but that's about it.

It's going to burn our eceonomy to the fucking ground, and journalists instead focused on whether Harris "deserved" the D nom.

Lutnick the clown have anything to say???

TRUMP AND HIS BAND OF FOOLS AND MORONS WILL DESTROY THE ECEONOMY.

china has citys that are 3x NYC but they arent as valuable as new york, only beacuse they are counting in US dollars. chinas eceonomy has 2x the money flowing in it as we do after you convert to dollars, but their dollar is 7 of ours. coffee is $2yuans there, US coffee cost more so more 'valuable'
it takes 7.12CNY to get 1USD, so doing the conversion you see the China has more than twice as much money in circulation than the US. Is a skyscaper built in Beijing worth 1/7 what it would be worth if it were in new tork city...is the US economy still #1 ...hmmm tradingeconomics.com/china/money-...
