Yeh - testing a few film cameras, so sticking to dirty old Gold for now - if the cameras are seriously borked, it's not like I spent too much. I also have some Ectachrome, but it expired in 1984 from memory.

I worked for Kodak years ago, developing Kodachrome and Ectachrome. The advent of digital photography killed chemical film almost overnight.
It was stunning for me to witness. Busy one day, idle the next.

It did so well! It’s respooled ectachrome, so a good stock. And the little 110 auto did a decent job with it.

I was explaining to my 3 sons who came with me why I the 70mm IMAX is better but I really had no issue with the image quality. All my pre-2004 photos are on ectachrome but I sold my slide projector in 2008 to buy a digital camera. We are used to digital. We also wore earplugs knowing it was Nolan.

For those of you contemplating/going through cataract surgery, this is a consequence of getting the procedure: more accurate color perception. Between my first and second surgeries, the analogy I used was the difference between Kodachrome and Ectachrome (for those that remember those slide films).

Tried my first roll of #expired 120 #ectachrome on my #yashicamat124g without any hope of it actually turning out, as I didn't know how it was previously stored. l really like the results, just random subjects but the effect is great. I'm looking forward to experimenting more with the last rolls.
