Difference between folks like Robin Williams (or Eddie Murphy, who did some awful standup jokes about gay people) and the guys who just fall back on cheap bigotry is they were talented enough to leave that stuff behind.

Top comedians don't do shit like this. Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, & most notably the late Prof. George Carlin should be the standards all comedians should be held to. Those are top tier talent, there are probably a few I missed & to those people, sorry!
