So far Suspicious Bastard ElderCat has not crunched down on any of them, which is the reason I can no longer use pill pockets even for non-bitter meds.

My problem is that ElderCat is EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS with a habit of crunching INTO any new and unexpected treat, so he’s getting multiple capsules of just the probiotic powder, lightly wetted and rolled in more of it, to trick him into thinking that’s why he’s getting on Monday

Our dearly departed eldercat of yore once gave me a heart attack when I caught her playing with a dark green spikey-looking caterpillar thing. I fought it away from her, to discover that I’d saved my girl from an uncooked spinach rotini noodle that had seen better days 🤦♀️ (so I gave it back 🤷🏼♀️)

Our dearly departed eldercat was a FIEND for Irish cream, and stole some every chance she got. She was at least 22 when she died, so… 😅🤷🏼♀️

We voted in the new Performing Arts center at Very Tall Son’s old high school and I just stood there goggling at how gorgeous it was.

I have an Eldercat who does that thing of lying very still in a sunpuddle. Gets me every time. I make a bunch of noise, she glares at me, and I am momentarily soothed.

Same, right? But so far, no sign of either one. That said, the dearly departed ElderCat of Yore haunted us for several years, then stopped…only to start up again when Quinn got cancer. That’s how I knew the remission wouldn’t hold - corny as it sounds. I’m glad she returned for her former roommate.

Anyway, sometimes things disappear and reappear in weird places; sometimes our dearly departed eldercat climbs into bed with us at night, and sometimes somebody opens and closes doors - but seems embarrassed if noticed, and vanishes.

our dearly departed eldercat sure as hell did - and she had to have one removed from her tummy the hard way, many years ago (she was fine, and I cut off my hair and threw the ties away)

Our dearly departed eldercat did that when she was young and strong - drove me crazy, I never actually saw her do it; but once in awhile she’d get stuck and need rescuing 😅

We had one of those; she was 23-24 when she finally passed in her sleep at the top of her game, atop her favorite heating vent. That we all should be so lucky.

We play w/her w/wands, laser pointer, & a motion toy. She chooses chaos & harasses our eldercat
