According to weezerpedia, it’s an EML ElectroComp 101.
Picture of a badass looking retro synth called the EML ElectroComp 101 Keyboards on Getchoo, Tired of Sex, IJTOTLOMD In late 1994, Rivers purchased a vintage Electrocomp 101 monophonic synthesizer from a pawn shop in rural Connecticut. He paid a fraction of what these things are currently valued at by collectors. It saw use on several "Black Hole" demos, and finally appeared on Pinkerton's "Tired Of Sex" , "Getchoo", and B-side "I Just Threw Out The Love of My Dreams". He still has it today.

For the first time since Mid-August, I fired up my gear and started messing around for the sake of messing around. Re-freshing. Up till now, it’s been re-configuring, re-wiring, and dealing with multiple frustrations of hardware/software syching…NOW, it may just flow again. Yessssss…

My son has pulled in synths (like Korg monotron ribbon synth) live performance, but he began as a small child with loving to make music with a hand pump for an air mattress. Now he batters an iron garden trellis. My husband's first synth was an EML ElectroComp 101.

You are looking at two synthesizers, one old and one new. The one on top is a blue face EML-200 made by electrocomp from the late 60s early 70s. It is semi modular, and has many patch cords of different colors, dangling off of it. Below it is a rather large synthesizer with a 16 x 16 grid of buttons and many knobs called an Arturia Matrixbrute. Nosferatu has entered the scene, he will bite you Ziggy the white cat with different colored eyes giving me a sideways head tilt glance. He’s mad at me because I won’t let them to the cables.

12/28/25 ARP 1623 + ElectroComp EML 200 + Peavey DDL-3 + CXM 1978
video upload by Cfpp0 "I think this is the first time I sequenced the EML 200 with the ARP 1623. The sequencer is 1 volt per octave and the synthesizer is 1.2 volts per octave, but it still works. Here the gate bus 1 on the ARP is triggering the envelope on the EML, which controls the VCA both VCOs are running through. That signal then runs through the EML spring reverb into the Peavey DDL-3
