Worked on my tube pre-amplifier today and I am glad it worked immediately after some heavy modifications I did to it 🙂 The Soviet era 6SN7GTB tubes are working well - great stuff!

The picture shows two Russian military grade 6SN7GTB type tubes. The glowing heater filaments can be seen. The black tube sockets have the typical OTK print in white letters as well as a rhombus with a zero digit inside. At the top of the tube's bulbs a blue reflection can be seen which comes from blue LEDs I use as indicators that the device is turn on. The OTK is a normal russian sign meaning that the device has been tested to be safe for us while the rhombus with the digit inside indicates that the tubes passed tests for being military grade quality. The tubes are part of my diy pre-amplifier which I am working on for many (10+) years now.
