I mean Dawntrail was basically a proper sequel to FF9 that took place in its cyberpunk future
Like, it felt like the reason they used expies of Steiner and Garnet was solely because they wanted there to have been enough time after the end of 9 for them to discover electrope

she didnt mind during the dawntrail patch notes when its being researched because shes like of course it should be examined . also allieda's not that knowledgable about 'magical relics' its not a Machine she does get that the electrope case was augmenting and shaping its power in different ways tho
