Gisèle can summon egis of any primal she’s defeated in line w FF SMN lore.

Mt Gulg was the breakup, when she couldn’t contain the Light within; that’s and then having to fight and kill him at the Dying Gasp devastated her. But in 5.3 during the ElidiWol fight he answered her call for aid via Azem magic + (unwitting) dynamis and returned from the Aetherial Sea—permanently.

hey did you guys know for the ElidiWoL fight, the first time she ever used the Azem crystal, she summoned the old gang from Thedas and they all fought one last battle together. 😭 even her old mabari 😭😭😭

- the Exarch’s vessel fractured in the ElidiWoL fight and failed, thus G’raha Prime is still asleep. Hades joined the Scions in 5.3 instead, to ensure Gisèle time-traveled in 6.0.

the vessel getting a hairline fracture during the elidiwol fight that caused it to ultimately fail was such a good plot point I’m mad it took me so long to think of it but I think I was too worried abt That Guy’s Fans bothering me. which is funny bc they pushed me into getting fed up enough to do it

tbh the entire reason y’shtola is trying to solve cross rift travel in gisverse is so gisèle can go back to the seventh and get some kind of closure. the thing is she mostly got it after the ElidiWoL fight and barring some plot there she needs to foil she doesn’t want to go back there.

But then they confirmed it with Alistair. He and the others resolved not to tell Lil and Van about being summoned by Gisèle to the ElidiWoL fight for fear of upsetting them. But when they got the letter, they talked to him. And they felt relief, then immense pride and joy that she was thriving.

She used it in the battle vs. Queen Eternal btw. Shinryu was similarly fraught for a long time, as was “Le Croisér”, what she called ElidiWoL (this is a reference to FF6!Crusader). She’s only ever summoned him once, vs Zodiark ironically enough.

real talk you know a change is necessary when you feel relief after you make it fhhffhfh but the vessel got a hairline fracture during the elidiwol fight making the soul transfer fail. the source one is still napping peacefully and my Scion roster consists of ppl who don’t give me or Gisèle agita

I like to explore the difference of Asteriaa fighting the Archduke vs Asteria fighting Elidiwol.

You could always buy a shirt and cut and turn it into a square throw pillow. I used to do that a lot when I was younger and outgrew something I liked. Actually I just remembered I bought an extra elidiwol Uniqlo shirt to do that and never did…

i have a couple other sos-related comms that are absolutely elival coded but don't actually feature elidibus LOL like the 3 of hearts card and one of my pieces from isa that's val resting on the colors of elidiwol, but these are the ones actually with them. oh the one from basil was at party not cm!

hortense has multiple relationships across the course of the msq, some cut short by narrative death, others being more casual relationships cut short by Hortense's own flaws. ig I would consider his "main" ship to be elidiwol bc they're such a narrative culmination of everything
