In slightly bizarre news, the UK government has banned the export of endangered eels to Russia after pressure from campaigners.
And as British eel farmers also can't trade eels with the EU after Brexit, their livelihood is now under threat.

We must hope that the traditional elvering will continue in the form of conservation elvering, helping the recovery of eels by restocking the UK's rivers.

We must hope that the traditional elvering will continue in the form of conservation elvering, helping the recovery of eels by restocking the UK's rivers.
That elvering for restocking should be thought to depend on sending elvers to Russia is quite simply ridiculous.
What don’t you understand about this the ea won’t allow us to fish because we don’t have an export license you stopped it you are responsible for this wildlife crime so don’t expect everyone else to put pressure on government your so clever let us know when you have a plan
