reading the SEPTA regional rail report and notable that their plan for rolling stock—single level EMUs, for acceleration and dwells—is the exact opposite approach that the MBTA has taken with their latest procurements (bilevel BEMUs, battery-electric locos)

How many emus are traded between China and the USA? I suppose it's out of the question that we're about to see the US ramp up imports of Chinese Electric Multiple Unit trains?

My journey today was short and took me to Granville. I never much liked those SNCF AGC EMUs, but compared to more recent rolling stock they are positively luxurious. Granville is nice too.

It's a beautiful day outside... Robo-Nenes are singing, Harukas are blooming... on days like these, Emus like you... should be burning in hell.

It's because the top priority right now is reconstructing the existing catenary that has reached the end if it's life – causing frequent problems with the new EMUs. And Rail Baltica.

Catenary upgrades are done with 25kV AC provisions and often – speed upgrades to 140 km/h.
