None of that answers my question. If there's a logic of your argument then surely you should be able to clearly explain it. If it's about ethnicity and lineage, then how many generations back would satisfy your view?

Population clusters are defined by multi-generational endogamy and shared ancestry, not a magic number. 'How many nanometers is blue?' isn't a clever question...it shows you don't understand how continuous categories work.

? My point was that races generally don't exist genetically. A lot of Jewish populations are remarkably close (apart from the Ethiopian one.)

One crazy fact is Ashkenazi Jews' European component mostly comes from SOUTHERN Europe, because when they mixed, it was during late Roman days and in Eastern Europe the discrimination and endogamy stopped additional European input.

I am going to be 33% honest and say that endogamy within the Jewish community is a red line for me and that is a very drastic self selection, but that is actually a really important value for many Jewish people, myself included.
(not to mention Judaism is matrilineal, my kids will only be Jewish

Besides anything else, this is the prez of a small, worforce irrelevant, rich university that basically sells mafia club memberships. AS usual, given space on publications because of endogamy and mafia-club relations.
Presidents are hired & evaluated by their boards, who predominantly prioritize fundraising & avoiding challenging the powerful—not teaching, research or service. To change the presidents’ behaviors, you need to change the boards. Which among other things means you need strong faculty unions.
