STIGMA HURTS!

It silences people and fuels disbelief.

People with fibromyalgia shouldn't have to defend their pain or prove their limitations.

Invisible pain is still pain.
➡️Stop questioning
➡️Stop dismissing
➡️Start believing
➡️End the stigma💜

Your story doesn't have to be polished or have a happy ending to matter.

Share only what you're comfortable with. Your experience might help someone feel less alone or find the courage to speak up.

Share your story: SickNotWeak.com.

You are not your depression. You are not your anxiety. You are not the hardest thing you've ever experienced.

You are a person, not a diagnosis. You deserve to be seen as more than what you're going through.

#SickNotWeak presents: The Invisible Fight - Issue 4

No superpowers.
No secret identity.
Just the real-world knowledge of people with lived experience.

Because lived experience is powerful.

We're sick, not weak.

When I wrote Fu@k Stigma, I wanted truth—not another self-help book of motivational quotes and unrealistic promises.

Fu@k Stigma is about remembering stigma doesn't get the final word.

Biggest takeaway for this week is talking about mental health shouldn’t be rare. Keep checking in, keep listening, and keep reaching out when you need it. If you’re struggling, let someone who can help know.

Mental health awareness shouldn't just be something we talk about for one week or during awareness month. I think it's important to keep having these conversations, supporting each other, and reminding people that mental health matters EVERY day. #EndTheStigma #SPCH145advocates

What I see in Amy Acton’s story is resilience. Turning someone’s childhood trauma into a political weapon says far more about the people wielding the weapon.

People should expect better. Vote accordingly, Ohio.

Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness! Mental health is just as important as physical health. Check in on your friends and yourself. A strong mind leads to a strong body, keep the balance.

You never really know what someone might be going through, even if they seem completely fine. Something as simple as checking in on a friend or asking how they're doing can mean a lot. We should all try to be a little more understanding. #EndTheStigma #SPCH145advocates #MentalHealthSupport

Mr. Rogers said it best. The things we're scared to say out loud get smaller once we say them. Naming what you're feeling isn't a weakness. It's the first step to handling it.

I feel like there's this expectation that we should be able to handle everything ourselves, but that's not realistic. Asking for help doesn't make someone weak. Sometimes talking to someone is the first step toward feeling better. #EndTheStigma #SPCH145advocates #ItsOkayToAskForHelp

Between classes, exams, work, and trying to have a social life, college can get very overwhelming. I think schools/colleges should make mental health resources easier to access and remind students that it's okay to ask for support. #EndTheStigma #SPCH145advocates #CollegeMentalHealth
