The Enviolo hub on my Urban Arrow is officially borked*. Anyone swapped to an Alfine/Nexus system?
An die Radfahrenden hier, gerne insbesondere die, die sich technisch auskennen:
Stufenlose Nabenschaltung Enviolo Nuvinci (gibt es auch andere Firmen?). Ich bin das heute erstmals gefahren und war instant verliebt, grandioses Fahrgefühl. Gibt es was zu beachten? Nachteile?

Last year, my crap Enviolo rear wheel died. I got a secondhand crap one on Craigslist, but it had a roller brake. The roller brake didn’t work. The Enviolo tool needed to swap brake mounts on the hub costs like $110.
So I found this $12 disk that has a roller brake mount. Enviolo still sucks.

Ich kann selbstverständlich Reifen wechseln, aber mit Enviolo und Scheibenbremsen hab ich das noch nie gemacht 🥲

Snagged an absolutely abused but functional Enviolo rear wheel for basically nothing on FB, and hopes are currently high that the sharkbike will be mobile by tomorrow, and maybe makes it thru the summer

The clicky noise (am I allowed a sound?) when you freewheel. I really had a moment before I picked up my enviolo hub Tern that it wouldn't have the clicky sound 😂.

Got the bike back. This is how the hub that was broken works. This is some insane mechanical engineering to work for thousands of kilometers of riding with heavy loads.

After spending about two months in dry dock at Mello Fellos bike shop, I took the Brompton to pick up the Urban Arrow today. Something blew up inside the Enviolo N380 internal gear hub and it had to be replaced (under warranty). Back to cargo biking now though, just in time for good weather!

Ein weiterer Reifenwechsel bei dem ich beim einfädeln der Schaltung kapitulieren muss 😭
Es ist einfach zu kurz! Ich weiß nicht mehr, wie es bei den letzten Malen geklappt hatte.
