I know I haven't been actively posting much lately but I have been actively painting a LOT. Trying to get better at background elements and whatnot. Here are 3 I did today. Trying to be a little more loose with details and paying more attention to things like values and tones. #bskyart

An environmental study on a scenic waterfall area. The colors in my piece are dim compared to the photograph it references because it is, and remains, incomplete. The area is full of ponds and waterfalls and runoff areas, and the water is a tropical shade of green. The area is surrounded by jungle plants and muddy looking clay.
