This is the section of the alignments of Kerzerho in Erdeven (Morbihan) by the Plouharnel-Erdeven road when it was much quieter than today and the Etel to Trinité-sur-Mer tram line ran alongside it; early tourists would have used this to reach Carnac.

Sainte-Barbe alignement: An interesting and strange place, slightly off the tourist trails to the west of the D.781 Carnac to Erdeven road near to the village of Ste Barbe. #StandingStoneSunday More 1/

When intact the alignments of Kerzerho in Erdeven (Morbihan) followed an erratic course for over 2km. Today only about 200 menhirs (some of the biggest) survive near the Erdeven-Plouharnel road with smaller scattered groups elsewhere. Card by Beaumont c.1905.

This is the dolmen of Mané-Croc'h near Erdeven in Brittany. A T-shaped passage grave, its name can be translated as 'the hill of the sorceress'. #TombTuesday

The alignments of Kerzerho in Erdeven (Morbihan) followed an erratic course for over 2km but due to stone robbing only a few scattered groups of menhirs now remain. The largest surviving section is over 160 menhirs by the Plouharnel-Erdeven road.

Situated just 8km northwest of the famous alignments of Carnac, the standing stones of Erdeven in Brittany get far fewer visitors and have much more atmosphere as a result. The surrounding landscape is dotted with megaliths and dolmens, all linked by a meandering footpath. #StandingStoneSunday

In the forest near the Breton town of Erdeven can be found a large group of standing stones. One of the most impressive is known as 'Caesar's Chair' (although you would have to be around 12 feet tall to sit in it!). #StandingStoneSunday
