Pretty sure I’m doing this right while buying home fixing stuff

If they actually were concerned about affordability and not not just being contrarian, tantruming toddlers, they'd switch to electric.

Electric eTransit vs gas Transit.

The biggest of these incentives is just the fact that business fleets are data driven. They know what they actually drive, and don't get hung up on edge cases. This is what allows Ford to sell an eTransit with ~150 miles of range, "solving" the EV price problem. Consumers are, uh, less data driven.

Oh man if they made a passenger eTransit...

🤔 Maybe I should get a used etransit?

I just spotted this Ford eTransit in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza. Not a Tesla.

In your situation, Balcony Solar would be ideal.
reneweconomy.com.au/moves-afoot-...

As for EV vans, there's several (eg: Forizon Supervan, Ford eTransit, Kia PV5)
zecar.com/lists/electr...
Moves afoot to bring balcony solar to Australia, and new wave of products has batteries included
Unlike many countries, Australia does not allow balcony solar, which now even come with their own batteries. But that may change.

Mi repartidor local de SEUR le encanta su Ford eTransit

Hola, no no es plataforma MEB y lo fabrican en Rumanía junto con la eTransit y eTourneo

Also, might I say, I really enjoy how NYT chose the Mach-E to crush into a cube, even though it outsells the ICE-powered coupe and Ford has made no mention of cancelling it despite cancelling the Lightning, eTransit, and its written-off three row crossover.

Also, initial plan was to bypass dealers and sell directly into fleets. When fleets proved EV reluctant, the vehicles became Chevrolet Bright Drops, but the damage was done. Also, the official list prices were very high relative to the eTransit.

I saw one the other day while out making deliveries and it looked so fucking stupid. Did you know the sides of the bed slope inwards? I didn't until it pulled up next to my work's etransit. It's such a terrible truck.

The ID buzz is an EV but buyers have deemed it too expensive. The Chrysler Pacifica had a very impressive EREV and the market rejected it. BrightDrop and eTransit were well-priced commercial EVs rejected by industry. Hard to place blame on the OEMs when customers turn their nose up at them.

The loss of the Lightning is a travesty. My clients love it. There’s actually still a meaningful regulated market that’s desperate for good MHD product and the Lightning checks all the near-term boxes. We also needed a passenger-style eTransit.

I’m often curious about what an eTransit would look like doing something like this.

Etransit buses are just better than methane burning buses for riders. Took a SM big blue gillig ebus & it was quiet & clean. Took a methane burner back & it was loud & funky smelling

Now don’t get me wrong - we need to keep using combustion buses until the end of useful life but ebuses are better.

E-Transit vs Transit
Same name. Different game. One’s got the diesel grit, the other runs silent on pure electric power.
Whether you're chasing performance or futureproofing your fleet, the choice is yours.

I think someone will do this before I have a chance to (because of kid/adulthood timing) but kitting out like an etransit van for overlanding and doing a yt video series while Spreadsheet Guy-ing (gender neutral) over it would be pretty great

Who has an electric van, what do you think?? #Ford #EV #Electric #Van #eTransit #Custom

Under Farley Ford killed the Lightning and Escape Hybrid bringing their lineup as a manufacturer to 2 EVs (Mach-e, eTransit) and 3 HEVs (Maverick, Nautilus, Corsair).

Mach-e, their top selling EV, is not made in the U.S.
Nautilus, Lincoln's top seller, is made in China...

I wish all of them were the etransit. Not more stolen gas or catalytic converter theft!
